The Home Baking Business Academy

A special in-person day –  Tuesday 1st December – Oxford

What’s it all about…?

Academy Day Oxford will be a full day of proper thinking time, afternoon tea in a stunning rooftop restaurant, festive market content creation, and the kind of clarity that is very hard to find when you are knee-deep in bakes and admin.

Running a home baking business is joyful, creative and endlessly busy. It can also make it very hard to find the time and the headspace to plan properly.

Academy Day Oxford is a full day dedicated to exactly that.

What’s in store…

On Tuesday 1 December 2026, we are gathering in Oxford for a two-hour planning and strategy workshop, where you will make a start on getting your 2027 plans in place.

This will be followed at lunchtime with afternoon tea at the Ashmolean Rooftop Restaurant — with its floor-to-ceiling windows and views over the Oxford spires.

After lunch, we will wander through the museum at our own pace before heading to the Oxford Christmas Market, where you will have time to capture content for your own business in one of the most naturally festive settings in the country.

We close the day with hot drinks and a relaxed conversation about what you are taking away and what you are committing to for the next year.

The Bridge of Sighs in Oxford — a covered stone bridge crossing New College Lane — photographed at dusk. An ornate arched bridge with mullioned windows connects two college buildings above a narrow street lit by a warm gas-style lamp. A small group of visitors gather below.
A three-tiered afternoon tea stand on a grey table, set against a glass conservatory backdrop with greenery. The stand holds finger sandwiches and a slice of red velvet cake on the lower tier, scones on the middle tier, and decorated cakes and sweet treats on the top tier. Floral teacups and a teapot sit alongside a small vase of bright orange, pink and yellow gerberas.
