The Home Baking Business Academy

Turn Your Baking Passion into a Thriving, Fully Booked Business – Join the Academy That’s Helping Bakers Like You Succeed

You’ve got the skills. You’ve got the passion.
But building a profitable baking business?

That’s where the Home Baking Business Academy comes in.
Whether you’re just getting started or ready to take things to the next level, this is the place where bakers become business owners — without burning out.

Imagine having customers who:

Value your time

Happily pay your prices

and actually get excited to work with you.

No more last-minute stress, no more draining orders,

just the right people, at the right price, every time.

Hi, I’m Annie Bennett, and I run The Home Baking Business Academy.

I spent 30 years as a primary teacher and headteacher – so I know how to guide people gently, and how to hold space when things feel overwhelming.

I also ran my own baking business for a decade. I know what it’s like to balance ingredients, invoices, and imposter syndrome – often all in the same morning.

I understand food hygiene and labelling laws inside out, and I’m a qualified bookkeeper, and I bring that real-world experience into everything I teach.

But more than anything, I understand what it’s like to feel stuck. To think you have to be the cheapest to be successful. To believe every customer is “a good customer” – even when they’re not.

Inside the Academy, there’s no such thing as a silly question. You’ll find calm, friendly support from someone who gets it – and who’s here to help you feel capable, not just informed.

So, what happens when you join the membership?

You can start by joining a live session or catching a replay – whatever works best for your week.
You’ll also get access to a full library tour video, so that you know exactly what’s available and where to begin.
When you’re ready, the Cake-rriculum tool will help you assess what’s already working in your business – and what might need attention.
And from there, you’ll take steady, confident steps forward – with guidance and support all the way – so your business finally starts to feel clear, calm and genuinely yours.

Why I built this

I created The Home Baking Business Academy because I know what it’s like to feel stuck – working all hours, guessing at prices, and wondering if the business you love will ever really work. If I’d had this kind of support when I started, I’d have grown so much faster (and with far less stress).

This membership is for bakers like you – who are determined to make their business work, but don’t always know how. I’ll show you what needs to be in place, and guide you through it step by step – no overwhelm, no pressure, no judgement.

Because it is possible to build a successful baking business – no matter what you make, or where you live.

October is Sales Month, and every single training, template, and activity is designed to help you:

 Get confident with sales
✨ Develop a sales strategy
✨ Know your customer’s sales journey.
✨ Set up a sales tracker, to make the most of the customers you already have.
✨ know how to create social media posts that spark sales!

By the end of the month, you’ll feel a huge shift: confident with sales, and bringing in those bookings.

FAQs

 – I haven’t got £25 a month, have you seen the price of butter this week?

I understand that costs are going up, but investing a small amount each month will enable you to get targeted advice, just for your business. The academy will show you how to price your cakes effectively, and find customers who won’t argue with the price. Before you know it, you’ll have lots of enquiries, and be able to pick and choose the customers you book, and feel totally epic.

 – I can get free advice in your free facebook group and YouTube Channel, why would I pay for it?

I do have lots of free advice out there, but it’s generic and aimed at all in the group or who watch my channel. I only give tailored advice to those in my academy, so if you’d like me to solve a specific problem, or a barrier you can’t find a solution to, I will help you in the Academy through our Q&A sessions.

 – I haven’t got time for training, I’m busy enough as it is.

I hear you. I completely understand that you are busy. What if I said I could help you make more profit, but with fewer bookings? If you could make the same profit on one cake that you currently do with 3, would that free up time for you? And if you used some of that freed up time to learn how to appeal to more customers at even higher prices, wouldn’t that be worth the monthly investment?

 – I don’t know if you’re the right person to help me.

To be honest, I’m not right for everybody. I completely understand that there are people out there that don’t like the way I do things. They think my humour is flippant and they hate cats. But that’s fine, because I practise what I preach, and I know that all businesses have ideal clients that are perfect for them, and all businesses repel potential customers because of what they do and how they do it. One thing I am good at is helping people to build their resilience, and be totally OK when a potential client says ‘no’. So if you’re low on confidence, I’ll be really good at helping you to build it. I’ll always leave you feeling that anything is possible, because I truly believe it.
